Registration information



To register for any of our courses, either register online for the course you wish to attend or call our toll-free line (in Canada and U.S. 1-800-461-8857). For each of the courses there are recommended reference materials. Our workbooks can be purchased at a reduced cost at the same time as you register and you also have the option to purchase an up-to-date AIM manual at the same time. We will then express post the books to you for a nominal fee (please allow a week for delivery).

If, for some unforeseen reason, you are unable to attend the course, your deposit is transferable to another date provided notification is received 48 hours in advance of course commencement. Deposits are non-refundable and held on file for one year from original registration. If you do not cancel your registration or reschedule, you are responsible for the full payment of the course. Method of payment includes VISA, Mastercard, or cheque.

If you wish to purchase the workbook at the time of registration (you must have the workbook for the course) the discounted cost for the workbook is $56.66 (suggested retail is $65.95) plus GST. Please check to confirm you have the current edition of the AeroCourse workbook for your course.

Other reference materials are also recommended and available for purchase. See recommended reference materials under each course and go to Books.

Parking

We do our best to find facilities that have free parking, however some facilities have paid parking only. You may want to check with the facility personnel to determine parking fees.

Receipts

Tax receipts and course certificates are sent out after the course is complete - usually within a couple of weeks. Please notify our office of any address changes.

AeroCourse guarantee

We hope everyone feels prepared and passes their exam after course completion. However, if a student takes the exam within three months of taking the course and does not pass, AeroCourse will allow a course to be re-taken for no additional charge within one year of the original course date. If within the first three months after the original course a student feels they are not ready to write the exams, they can retake the course for a nominal fee. After three months, the re-take fee for the course is half price from the current course fee for a period of five years from the original course date. Any time a new workbook is required there will be charge for the workbook.

Course cancellation

All courses are subject to cancellation. AeroCourse cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by persons attending a course. In the event a course is cancelled, all course fees will be refunded or transferred to other course dates.

Any personal information collected and maintained is part of a student’s record, that will only be used for the purposes of registration, issuing income tax receipts, and for sending educational information on upcoming courses or books by AeroCourse. Important registration information



We have been experiencing a large volume of last minute registrations for our courses. Please register as early as possible, at least ten days prior to the course, to ensure you are not disappointed that a course is not available. If early registration is not possible, please still call and indicate your interest so we can track the numbers and make call backs if a course is reaching capacity or has the potential to be cancelled.
