Mark Auerman
Mark is currently flying for Canada's largest airline holding the position of A320 Check Pilot. He has extensive experience flying and is currently a pilot development instructor and has held the position of training captain. He has a varied background from regional carriers to corporate flying. He loves to teach and frequently students comment on his enjoyable style and presentation. Mark has been teaching with AeroCourse for over 15 years.

Les Carr
Les is currently flying for Canada's largest airline as Captain on the A320 and a manager of the airlines sports teams and VIP charter flights. His experience includes both Canadian and International flying with over 20 years in the industry. He has excellent IFR and ATPL/IATRA knowledge and is a major contributor to the Canadian IFR workbook and course material. Les has been instructing pilots for many years, being a former instructor on the A320, training for many government aviation operations as well as leading numerous ground school seminars in his over 15 years with AeroCourse. Les is meticulous with details ensuring his students are well-versed in the required information.

Drew Chant
Currently flying for Canada's largest airline holding the position of Training Captain on the A320, Drew has been flying for approximately 30 years and have accumulated over 20,000 hours of experience.
Drew's experience is wide-ranging. He has been involved in training pilots for most of his airline career and with AeroCourse for 15 years. With his extensive ground school background, experience on a multitude of aircraft types combined with his friendly personality, all make Drew an excellent instructor.

Rob Helfenstein
Rob' has over 25 years of aviation experience including developing and teaching both in the classroom and in the air. He has accumulated in excess of 15,000 flight hours throughout North America, the Caribbean, and Europe. Rob has worked with a highly regarded flight school, a regional airline and presently employed at Canada’s largest airline. He is type rated on DHC8-100/300, ATR42, F28, A320 and various other types, and currently on the A330. He has held training captain positions and has instructed IFR and ATPL ground schools with AeroCourse for well over 10 years. Rob is a frequent contributor to AeroCourse’s pilot training materials. Rob gets immense satisfaction in being able to help old and new pilots alike attain their aviation goals whether it be to pass a Transport Canada exam or just to increase their knowledge level.

Neil Mitchell
Neil currently flies CRJ aircraft for Canada’s largest regional airline and has over 25 years’ experience in the aviation industry. He has been training pilots as part of a corporate CRM team for over six years and has been instructing with AeroCourse, for 3 years. Neil brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the AeroCourse seminars he instructs.

Christian Nielsen
Christian is currently a line pilot and senior flight instructor on the B767 for Canada's largest airline. He has been a pilot for 16 years and teaching advanced aviation seminars for the past 12 years. He has held a number of training and operational positions with some of Canada’s largest airlines including training captain/check pilot on large turboprop aircraft, Flight Attendant Manager, Maintenance Coordinator, and Operations manager.

Stedman Sponton
Sted has been working as a professional pilot for over 25 years. He has spent most of his career in management for flight operations or training at a variety of companies that have included scheduled and charter passenger airlines, air medevac and cargo operations. Sted currently holds the position of Human Factors Program Manager for Canada’s largest regional airline. In this position, he is responsible for all CRM training programs, command and leadership training for line captains, LOFT and special projects within Corporate Safety. Sted is currently a Captain on the Dash 8 series of aircraft. He has been training pilots for many years.

Rick Stevens
Rick has been a professional pilot for almost 30 years. His experience includes instruction at all levels with over 20 years’ experience conducting ATPL/IATRA and IFR courses. He currently flies the 767 for Canada's largest airline. He has also held several positions at Canada's largest Regional airline which include Ground School Instructor, Line Captain and Chief Pilot. He has thousands of hours of flight experience on heavy jet and large turbo-prop aircraft. Rick is one of the founders of AeroCourse and the president of the company.
